Iowa State Fair: Banjo Contest

Darin Manson, 48, of Albia took first place in the Banjo Contest. Jon Eric, 46, of Iowa City placed second, and Grayson Cox, 15, of North English earned third place.

Iowa State Fair: Guitar Contest

In the Guitar Contest, Fred Coy, 68, of Ames took first place while Tom Richards, 66, of Nevada claimed second place. Rick Drewelow, 56, of Ionia captured third.

Iowa State Fair: Mandolin Contest

Corey Wurst, 25, of Urbandale claimed first place in the Mandolin Contest.  Second place went to Bryan Conley, 31, of Urbandale, and Steve Hurst, 63, of Boone was awarded third place.
